TL;DR
The 2025 Release Wave 2 for Dynamics 365 Business Central introduces enhanced Power BI sales reports: new visuals, KPIs, drill-down features, and opportunities tracking. These reports, available in AppSource, connect directly to your BC data, providing deeper insights into sales performance, budgets, and customer activity.
Introduction
I want to show you some enhanced Power BI reports that Microsoft has recently released for Dynamics 365 Business Central.
These reports were released with the 2025 Release Wave 2 (version 26.2) of Business Central. We’re going to look at a number of new sales reports, and I like these because they’re really nice-looking reports that give users access to the data they want to analyze and share.
Accessing the Reports
I like to view Power BI reports in PowerBI.com, but they’re also available inside Business Central. You can connect them easily to your BC data.
These reports are created by Microsoft for Business Central and are available in Microsoft AppSource for free. You will need additional licensing—TMC can help with that.
In PowerBI.com, I go to the Apps section to see all Microsoft-created apps, which can be downloaded into your BC system.
