Manufacturing Orders are a collection of work orders and bills of materials that go into a given manufacturing task and are necessary to produce things. It is divided into two categories: internal orders and subcontract orders. Manufacturing instructions are used to create the manufacturing order. Make to order (MTO), manufacture to stock (MTS), and make to assemble are the three types of manufacturing production processes (MTA).
