We’re Hiring: Technical Services Manager (Remote)
Technology Management Concepts (TMC) is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead its expanding team of ERP and cloud developers. This role combines strategic technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring a candidate who can architect scalable solutions, mentor developers, and collaborate cross-functionally with consultants, project managers, and clients.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics (particularly D365 Business Central and CE), .NET development, and integration frameworks, along with a proven ability to manage distributed teams and deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and manage a team of developers across ERP (D365 BC, CE, F&SCM), Azure, and Power Platform projects
- Oversight, leadership and management of a team of subcontracted developers and technical architects
- Lead and collaborate with the development queue scheduling and operating in an Agile environment
- Conduct code reviews, performance evaluations, and career development planning
- Establish and enforce coding standards, DevOps practices, and agile delivery methodologies
Technical Architecture & Execution
- Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using Microsoft technologies
- Actively contribute to development efforts, especially in complex or high-impact projects
- Oversee system configuration, upgrades, implementation, and customization efforts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with project managers and consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support pre-sales efforts with technical scoping and solution design
- Coordinate development resources and manage vendor/offshore relationships
Process & Governance
- Own the technical roadmap for development, including modernization, automation, and AI integration
- Ensure adherence to TMC’s implementation methodology and delivery standards
- Participate in project governance and risk escalation decisions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365 BC, AX, F&O), Azure, and Power Platform
- Experience with building or designing Power Apps, Agents or solutions using AI
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
- Proven ability to manage distributed teams and complex technical projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to flex between strategic leadership and hands-on technical execution
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with .NET (C#), SQL Server, JavaScript, and integration tools such as SSIS or Scribe
- Familiarity with ERP implementation cycles, including data migration, testing, and UAT support
- Ability to thrive in a consulting-driven, client-facing environment
- Passion for mentoring and growing technical talent
