TMC Participating in Race For the Rescues This Weekend

The TMC team will be joining the rest of Los Angeles County for a very special cause this Sunday October 7th, 2012 at the Race for the Rescues. The Race for the Rescues is a race held every year at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. All donations and profits from the 5K, 10K, 1K Dog Walk, 1K Kids Fun Run & Coach Potato Race benefit 12 non profit, no kill Animal Welfare Organizations. Those organizations include:

A Dog’s Life Rescue, After The Finish Line, Angel City Pit Bulls, Angel Dog Foundation, California Wildlife Center, Heaven On Earth Society For Animals, Mercy For Animals, Molly’s Mutts & Meows, The Ozzy Foundation, Stray Cat Alliance, Take Me Home Rescue & The Rescue Train.

The Rescue Train and TMC applaud these nonprofit rescue groups and animal welfare organizations. Each year these groups save and find loving homes for thousands of dogs, cats, horses. They are also dedicated to rehabilitating wild life, preventing cruelty to farmed animals, providing veterinary care for pets of low income families and free spay/neuter clinics. They are solely run on tax deductible donations. Because of their tireless devotion, our world is kinder place.

The day of the race they will also will be holding dog and cat adoptions for the LA Animal Services & The Pasadena Humane Society as well as fun activities for all ages of animal lovers including:
