RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Management & Copywriting (40%)

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to translate complex (and sometimes boring) topics into engaging ideas.
  • Assist in the development of a content marketing strategy and editorial plan that aligns with and supports brand awareness, demand generation, and prospect nurturing.
  • Write and edit quality content for websites, including blogs, eBooks, on-page content, landing pages, creative assets, and more.
  • Write, edit, proofread, and fact-check copy — your own and others’ — while keeping an eye out for brand consistency and accuracy.
  • Write and edit for your audience — whether that’s a user who is already familiar with our services or a decision-maker looking to upgrade their systems.
  • Work with internal teams and subject matter experts to produce thought leadership content asset that drives interest, conversions, and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Review and edit freelancer content as needed.
  • Assist TMC’s team when copy and content needs arise.

Social Media Management (30%)

  • Co-develop campaigns that generate website traffic and maximize conversion.
  • Post social media content for TMC’s various social channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, Website Chat system, Twitter, Facebook…)
  • Respond to any direct messages or inquiries from these channels.

Email Marketing (20%)

  • Create and execute email campaigns that engage, educate and/or promote our brand, products, services, client successes, etc.
  • Test and improve email templates, scheduling, ton, design, etc.

General Marketing (10%)

  • Works with the Marketing Manager on the development of creative ideas and concepts related to individual marketing campaigns and promotions, providing suggestions, ideas, and support.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal communication good practices that align with the company culture and encourage employees’ loyalty and engagement.
  • Encourages the use of social sharing and selling tools for our employees.
  • Create monthly reporting and analysis on the blog and social media platforms’ performances.
  • Research market trends and competitor positioning; advance pertinent findings and recommendations to leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of experience in marketing are required.
  • Copywriting ability and strong proofreading and editing skills are essential.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically with marketing campaigns and data.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Energetic, motivated self-starter and team player.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems is preferred. (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Experience with desktop publishing software is preferred.
  • Experience with graphic design software is preferred.
  • Experience with social media marketing (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge in B2B marketing, finance (ERP), or sales (CRM) tools is a plus.
