TMC attains Gold Enterprise Resource Planning in new Microsoft Partner Network

Technology Management Concepts (TMC) announced today that it has achieved the Microsoft Partner Network Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Gold competency, which is the highest level competency in the new Microsoft Partner Program. By attaining this competency, TMC continues to demonstrate their proficiency in deploying Microsoft Dynamics GP and Dynamics CRM, along with related applications from Microsoft and ISV’s.

TMC offers Microsoft Dynamics GP and Dynamics CRM solutions to companies of all sizes and industries, including multinational business and worldwide organizations. TMC’s consultants come from diverse backgrounds including CPA’s, MBA’s, Accountants and/or past controllers and CFO’s. TMC’s director of Business Development, Brenda Diener said “The certification shows customers which partners are committed to their success. To receive this certification, we had to demonstrate that we have a large staff that has expertise on a wide range of Microsoft technologies.”

In October 2010 Microsoft made a major change to its partner program and the criteria by which partners are ranked. The new Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) accreditations were introduced as well as new partner logos.

The first main change that took place with the switch was placing the old, Gold Partner status, which reflected an overall capability with accreditation in certain areas of expertise, with either gold or silver levels. This new approach allows Microsoft partners to clearly define their business capabilities and areas they specialize in.

The second main change was that the criterion required for partners to obtain either Gold or Silver competencies have become more stringent. Microsoft anticipates this will permit only those partners that are larger, more skilled and more successful to reach their gold status.

Microsoft Partners have until May 2011 to meet the new criteria and TMC has achieved Gold Status in Enterprise Resource Planning, and Silver in Business Intelligence, months before the deadline. The new MPN program aims to better differentiate the larger, more skilled Microsoft partners and TMC’s early success in achieving the new and tougher accreditation is a testament to its position as a leading Microsoft Partner. “We are extremely pleased to have attained Gold Certified Partner status in the new Microsoft Partner Program. This allows us to clearly promote our expertise and relationship with Microsoft to our customers,” said Director of Consulting Services, Jennifer Harris.

While the old Microsoft Gold Partner designation will continue to be seen until May 2011, the new MPN program represents the leading edge of Microsoft’s relationship with its partners. TMC is proud to be at the forefront of these changes and that it is able to display the new MPN Logo and Gold Competency status as recognition of its commitment and investment in new Microsoft technologies.
