With the past few releases of Dynamics GP, Microsoft has made a concerted effort to extend the reach of the data created and stored in GP to all of the employees of the company.  Based on previous studies, a typical company may only have enough user licenses for 15% of their workforce, and it is not unusual for only half of these users to actively work within the GP system.  Under these circumstances, perhaps as many as 92% of the company’s workforce may have no regular or direct access to the ERP system, the source of the information they need to make business decisions.

Ventura Regional Sanitation District goes live on Dynamics GP!

 Los Angeles, CA – The Ventura Regional Sanitation District (VRSD), working with Technology Management Concepts (TMC), has successfully implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0.  VRSD is an enterprise public agency, serving the waste/wastewater and solid waste needs of Ventura County. Dynamics GP (Great Plains) swings for the fences, Excel strikes out

In my free time, I work for an independent professional baseball team, the Long Beach Armada.  They play in an independent baseball league called the Golden Baseball League, which consists of 11 teams across Western North America. The teams cater to thousands of baseball fans per year.  I have worked there for the past three seasons, and have experience in nearly every aspect of team operations from marketing, to graphic design to accounting. This past weekend, I made the drive up the 405, back home to Valencia.  My mom put together a going away brunch for my sister, who will be leaving in a week to study abroad in France until early next year.

 Among the guests at our house that morning was my great aunt Gloria.  She works for a company that schedules court reporters, and she is an accountant that handles Payroll and  General Ledger for them.  She is the only person in the office that handles the financial aspect of the business, thus she is heavily depended upon.
