“Thank you for the FRx training…it was the most useful training I have had in years. FRx has streamlined processes that used to take me hours each month. If you hadn’t offered the free FRx class, I would never have scheduled the individual training because I would not have known what I was missing. .I am only sorry I waited so long to get the training. And, Julie is great to work with. Thanks so much.”

What is Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)?

Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a mid market business software solution that records and processes accounting, supply chain, manufacturing, human resources, payroll, and project management transactions.

Dynamics GP was originally developed by Great Plains Software, an independant company located in Fargo, North Dakota. It was one of the first accounting packages in the United States that was designed to be a multi user system running on the Microsoft Windows platform. It was also one of the first accounting software packages to run on a Microsoft SQL Server database. In 2001, Microsoft purchased Great Plains software for $1.1 billion dollars. After the purchase, the product was named Microsoft Great Plains then Microsoft Dynamics, and today it is known as Microsoft Dynamics GP.

I’m extremely proud of what we’ve accomplished during the last six years—both at Microsoft and across our broad ecosystem of partners. Together, we have built a global business that is delivering breakthrough solutions across customer segments, industries, and geographies. More than 250,000 customers are part of the Microsoft Dynamics community and new customers are joining at a rate that is significantly outpacing overall market growth. As a prospective or existing Microsoft Dynamics  customer, whether you Microsoft Dynamics GP or Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you can be absolutely confident that we are committed to preserving your investments today and enhancing them moving forward”Steve Ballmer, CEO Microsoft Corporation
